Project Management
Project Management is a role which uses experience to manage resources and processes, managing finances, programme and avoiding disruption to client’s normal business activities.
Corporate Architecture can take overall responsibility of your project. As Architectural Designers we often automatically take on the Project Management role, or we can act in a standalone Project Management role with other Architects or Designers engaged. To maximise the benefit of employing a Project Manager it is best practice to appoint at inception of a project, this will allow time for the client and project manager to form a relationship early on.
We can assist clients in establishing clear objectives and the brief for the projects including design, procurement and RFP processes, programming and cost budgeting and management. The role of the Project Manager is to take on the pressure a project can bring, with many of our clients choosing us to carry out Project Management do so, to free up their time to concentrate on their other business activities. We will update you throughout the progress on quality and compliance, build progress, costings and manage payment approval processes, together with carrying out regular inspections of the works.
